Lucid Releases Backgrounder on New Hampshire Primary Study for ABC News

Lucid Systems traveled to New Hampshire at the invitation of ABC News' Good Morning America to show how neurometric measures could reveal the unspoken truth behind voters' reactions to candidates participating in the ABC Democratic and Republican debates held in Manchester on  January 5, three days before the crucial New Hampshire primary.

The Good Morning America story appeared on Monday, January 7. It is available here and on the Good Morning America site here.

The ABC News team, led by Claire Shipman, did a terrific job creating a very focused and understandable piece for GMA viewers, but naturally they were not able to include everything that went into the study. So for those who might be interested in a bit more detail, Lucid has produced a "backgrounder" that goes behind the scenes and provides a bit more detail on the studies and findings.

The backgrounder describes an eye-tracking study that did not make it into the GMA segment, and provides more detail on the methodology behind the "red at the back of the head" results highlighted in the GMA story. It also goes into more detail on our results on the topic of "how to argue with your opponent and not make your audience disllike you".

The backgrounder is available here.
