Dr. Fernando Miranda, MD

Dr. Miranda serves as Chief Science Officer and is responsible for guiding all aspects of Lucid Systems' scientific and neurological research programs. He is board certified in neurology, electroencephalography, neurological rehabilitation, sleep disorders, and evoked potentials, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Miranda previously founded The Bright Minds Institute in San Francisco, CA, where he serves as Medical Director. He has served on the faculty of the Department of Neurology at Johns Hopkins Medical School, and has chaired the Division of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Lovelace Clinic in Albuquerque, NM.

Dr. Miranda received his M.D. in 1972 and received post graduate training in Behavior and Cognition at Baltimore City Hospitals and Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Mr. David Remer

dave-remerDavid Remer serves as Chairman & CEO, leading the charge to establish investor relations and introduce Lucid Systems to the category.  He also spearheads efforts to productize science and technology offerings.  His marketing expertise produces instant credibility with target audiences.

Remer is the CEO and Creative Director of remerinc, a Seattle-based advertising agency with a national reputation for growing strong brands.  He leads the agency’s strategic development for every client and oversees the creation of advertising and marketing materials that have garnered numerous prestigious awards, including a 2006 Gold Lion from the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.

Remer has offered creative counsel to such companies as ABC, ESPN, Microsoft, Kodak, Corbis, Getty Images, Starbucks, and United Way.  He is also a nationally known speaker on the importance and disciplines of branding.
